2026 AI Transparency Disclosure
CureRadar uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to process medical documents. This AI acts as a triage assistant and does not provide medical diagnoses or "automated" clinical decisions. All trial eligibility must be verified by a human clinical professional.
CureRadar LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the platform at cureradar.com. We specialize in clinical trial matching for oncology. This policy outlines how we handle sensitive health data with the highest standards of security.
1. Information We Collect
Clinical Data & Biomarkers
To provide trial matching, we collect:
- Pathology & Lab Reports: Genomic sequencing (EGFR, KRAS, ALK, etc.), histology, and stage.
- Treatment History: Prior lines of therapy and performance status (ECOG).
- Contact Info: Name and email for trial notifications and case updates.
2. AI Processing & Human Oversight
When you submit a "Radar Scan," our AI extracts clinical variables to generate a Match Confidence Score.
- No Automated Blocking: Our AI never prevents you from accessing a trial; it only highlights the most likely matches.
- Bias Mitigation: We regularly audit our algorithms to ensure they do not discriminate based on age, gender, or ethnicity.
3. Data De-Identification & Sharing
We take a "Privacy-First" approach to trial matching:
- Researcher View: When we share your data with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs), we use De-identified Clinical Profiles. This means we remove your name, exact address, and contact info until you explicitly authorize a direct connection.
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell your personal info to data brokers or third-party advertisers. We only share clinical profiles with verified research institutions for the purpose of matching you to a trial.
4. Regulatory Compliance
HIPAA Alignment: While CureRadar acts as a direct-to-consumer service, we voluntarily align our technical safeguards with HIPAA Security Rule standards, including AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 encryption in transit.
GDPR & International Users: If you are in the EU, you have the "Right to Explanation" regarding AI processing and the "Right to Erasure." Contact us to delete your data permanently.
5. Security Measures
We implement "Zero-Trust" architecture. Access to clinical data is restricted to essential personnel only and is protected by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). No data is stored on local devices; all information remains in our secure, encrypted cloud environment.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
